| What are the differences between the 8394EI software and the 8494 software ?
The 8494 has the added features of supporting the 5494 emulation and support for the new 14 device twinax card. The 8494 no longer requires or allows jumpers between the twinax cards for strapping cards together as this is now done via software in the disk configuration. |
