| I want to name my displays and/or printers a specific name, but when I select the Override the Default Telnet Device Name, the Host adds a number to the end of the name.
Unfortunately, telnet adds a number to the device name when creating the devices. One way to get around this is to select Anynet for the Host connection type. The devices will be created using the first four characters of the Interface Control Point Name followed by DSP or PRT and a few numbers. After the devices have been created on the host you can vary off the device and rename as desired. |
