Article #33 - TxS & 8215 Serial cables and printing
Updated:02-17-2006 - Views: 728
My 8215 prints can talk to and print from more than one printer, yet my TxS+ will not drive either printer. Why not?

The 8215 uses a straight through (pin to pin) serial cable. The TxS+ requires a null modem cable. The TxS+ does not work with a straight through cable. You must use a null modem cable with the TxS+ and you cannot use a null modem calbe with the 8215.
