| The Adaptio Management Utility (AMU) can be closed and the print server will still run. The AMU is used to create, edit and delete sessions as well as monitor the printing activity of the print service.
The AMU is a console application while the Adaptio Print Server is a Windows service application. This means that the service runs in the "background" without the need of having the graphical user interface display up on the screen. |
