| Any keyboard with a mini din / ps2 connector will work with the 2677M. HOWEVER if the keyboard does not support Scan Set 3 some of the keys will not work, or will not produce the desired results. Full functionality will require the keyboard support Scan Set 3 which is an extended character set supporting Sys Req and several other keys. Not many, if any, PC keyboards support these keys.
Depending on the application and the keys required a keyboard supporting scan set 2 would be fine for normal input, but F key support, and other special keys, such as setup etc. will likely fail. |
