I-O Corporation provides capabilities for bi-directional data collection or data transfer for either an IBM AS/400 or an ASCII host. This can be done through a serial port network enabling interface, a twinax display station, a stand alone box emulating a display station, a PC emulating a display station, a LAN TCP/IP interface using Telnet 5250 or 3270, or a custom interface created to your requirements. Applications include: bar code scanners, time clocks, weigh scales, card readers, Point of Sale, etc.
Network Enabling Serial Data Capture/Collection Interface - Many types of devices with serial ports need to be connected to a network to enable the data from the device to be collected.

LAN Interface Using Telnet 5250 or 3270 - Customization of LAN interface can enable data to be communicated via Ethernet or Token Ring to an IBM Host.

Dedicated Data Capture/Collection Box or Internal Card - Compact unit or internal card eliminates the cost and space for a full size Display Station in order to get collected data to AS/400 host.

Display Station Data Capture/Collection - Use custom keyboard magstripe readers and bar code scanner wedge boxes to enable the input of data to the AS/400 as EBCDIC data or key strokes.
